Film Director
Mystery Thriller
A beloved, small-town rabbi becomes an unlikely gunfighter after his community is violently attacked.
Starring Mark Feuerstein, Neal McDonough, Alona Tal, Christopher Lloyd and Dermot Mulroney.
"In a world that’s getting more dangerous by the minute and a media landscape too squeamish to tackle faith, violence, and identity without neutering the message, Guns & Moses doesn’t just aim—it fires... this indie thriller might be the most surprising genre breakout of the year."
Sal directed the Passover comedy and cult classic, When Do We Eat? starring Max Greenfield, Ben Feldman, Shiri Appleby, Michael Lerner, Lesley Ann Warren, and Jack Klugman.
Sal's film Saving Lincoln depicts the true story of Abraham Lincoln and his closest friend, Ward Hill Lamon. All of the film's sets and locations were created from vintage Civil War photographs, in a style Sal named CineCollage.
Sal's production company is Pictures From the Fringe.
He writes with his wife and partner, Nina Litvak.
